latest controversy...

I found myself thinking again today about the evolution of jeans. This coming after I had a pair of jeans that I bought with lets say 4 holes already in them, and shortly ( a couple months) after I have owned them, they just straight up rip.

And how right now "name brand" jeans are more expensive than ever but yet they are looking worse, and are of the lesser quality than jeans have ever been. They now come with dirt stained into them, paint stained into them and if you're really IN STYLE, you got 7 or 8 holes who knows where.

EXAMPLE #1:

here we have a 79.99 pair of jeans from Abercrombie and Fitch; comes ready, stained and torn, so you dont have to fall and tear the knees, its already done for you. Dirt? Its already there. Just dont plan on wearing them for more than a few weeks.

EXAMPLE #2:

now you got your 19.99 pair of old faithful Levi's, sturdier than ever, plan on wearing them for at least two years.

So all I'm saying is when did the youth of America start paying American Eagle 60+ dollars to tear holes in their jeans? I mean I may be speaking out of frustration, cause I'm not gonna say I will never buy a pair with a hole or two in them, but I would rather have the option to get the good 'ol Levis. And soon we may not have that option people of America.

So what am I saying?
Stock up on your favorite Levi's? Not necessarily.
Persecute anyone that wears American Eagle? Not completely.

Maybe I just want an amen, I dunno.

Amen, Kenny! Sometimes I just wonder if I should start a business where I have people pay me ten dollars to mistreat their pants and give them back to them. It ends up costing less and they save money!

Kenny, you're pushing the blogging envelope with this post! This very topic is tearing families apart all across America...

Secretly like man capri's? That isn't even a funny joke... they are a fashion abomination and pretty much the most awkward piece of clothing apart from adult onsies. Don't even get me started...
